Ukrainian Religious Society of Saint Sophia [Українське Релігійне Товариство «Свята Софія»] – a charitable institution established to promote the advancement of education and religion.

The Society was formed in 1977 in London on the initiative of Yosyf Slipyi, the then head of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church. From 1979 to 2016 the Ukrainian Institute London (until 2004 – the London College of the St Clement Ukrainian Catholic University) functioned under the auspices of the Society. Adjacent to the Society’s premises stands a statue of Grand Prince Volodymyr the Great of Kyiv, erected in 1988 by the Ukrainian community in the UK to mark the millennium of the adoption of Christianity in Kyivan Rus. The Society has been chaired by: the Rev. Ivan Muzyczka (1977-2007), Bishop Hlib Lonchyna (2007-2020), Bishop Kenneth Nowakowski (2020- ). Secretaries: Georgius Jenkala (1977-2002), Wasyl Oleskiw (2003-2007), Rev. David Senyk (2007- ), Rev. Ewhen Nebesniak (2016- ).
